In Dec. 2023, an elderly Lakeland woman was scammed by people who told her she won the Publisher’s Clearing House sweepstakes. After a very lengthy investigation, we caught one suspect – Michael Lawrence – who is now in the Polk County Jail. We’re still looking for his accomplice, Max Clayton Richards, DOB 9/20/1982, of Lauderdale Lakes, FL. Our victim had $477,000 stolen. We need to put Max in jail too.
