If you get a call from someone claiming to be law enforcement and saying you have a warrant, but they’ll make it “go away” if you send them gift cards, Bitcoin, or your grandma’s secret cookie recipe, IT’S A SCAM!
Real law enforcement will never call you demanding payment over the phone. If you actually had a warrant, we’d be having that conversation in person.
Hang up, don’t fall for it, and maybe let your friends know… because scammers love to dial for dollars!
