Winter Haven, FL – Following the demolition of the Chain of Lakes Stadium, the City of Winter Haven has announced that a limited number of the stadium’s seats have been preserved and are now available for public purchase. This initiative comes in response to numerous inquiries from the community about preserving a piece of local sports history.
To obtain a set of the historic seats, interested individuals are required to fill out an application form available at this link by May 29, 2024. The city will conduct a random lottery to select the lucky recipients due to the expected high demand.
Each selected household will have the opportunity to purchase a set of two seats for $100. Payment must be made at the AdventHealth Fieldhouse, and the seats must be picked up during a designated time window, which will be announced following the lottery. Each household is limited to one set, and multiple entries from the same household will be disqualified.
This unique offer not only allows residents to own a piece of Winter Haven’s sports legacy but also celebrates the community’s rich sporting history as the city looks forward to creating new memories at the newly developed facilities.
