Highlands County Sheriff’s Office Assists in Arrest of Colorado Murder Suspect

Yesterday afternoon, members of the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office assisted United States Marshals to serve an arrest warrant on 62-year-old Clifton Clayton Boggess, who was wanted by the Yuma Colorado Police Department in connection with the murder of 25-year-old Britani Meek.

Boggess is currently in the Highlands County Jail awaiting extradition back to Colorado to face charges of first degree murder, tampering with a deceased body, second degree kidnapping, second degree motor vehicle theft and third-degree assault.
