Father And Son Arrested For Love’s Truck Stop Theft

42-year old Franklin Smith II and 18-year old Franklin Smith III of Altamont, Tennessee (about 35 miles northwest of Chattanooga) were arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office last week.

The man and his sequel stopped off at the Love’s Travel Stop at 45000 US 27 in Davenport at about 9:17am on Wednesday.

Frank2 got two breakfast sandwiches and an XL fountain drink whilst Frank3 grabbed a banana, four hotdogs, and an XL fountain drink.

The Tennessee travelers then walked out of the store without paying for any of the items–a total loss of about $26 for the store.

An employee immediately contacted the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the duo was soon arrested.

Frank2 And Frank3 were chauffeured to the Sheriff’s Processing Center and they received deluxe accommodations at Grady Judd’s Bed & Breakfast where they were both charged with retail theft.
