The Sebring Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Police Officer. If you are:

  • – A high school graduate (or equivalent),
  • – A United States Citizen,
  • – Not a convicted Felon,
  • – Of good moral character, and;
  • – A licensed Florida Driver

Educational opportunities exist for applicants who have not completed a Florida police academy.

SALARY & BENEFITS INCLUDE:

  • – A $5,000 State hiring bonus for becoming Certified as a Florida Law Enforcement Officer
  • – A $5,000 hiring bonus for already Certified Florida Law Enforcement Officers
  • – A progressive Step Pay Plan
  • – $50,000 – $67,195 starting pay for Florida Certified Law Enforcement Officers
  • – Take-home vehicles (45-air miles from headquarters to include adjacent counties)

  • – Holiday pay
  • – $2.00 an hour on-call pay
