On April 3, 2025, Lake County detectives and Road Patrol units responded to 54711 Third St., Astor, to assist the State Probation Office while they searched the residence of a subject they monitor. Upon arrival, contact was made with the defendant, Laron Saul, who held an active Lake County felony warrant. Incident to arrest, a search of Saul’s person yielded multiple plastic baggies of methamphetamine. Saul was transported to the Lake County Jail and charged accordingly, and his probation was violated
