Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 64 people for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol and/or drugs in May.
Out of these 64 arrests, 13 were crash-related.
One of the people arrested for was also charged with Violation of Probation. His probation was for a previous DUI.
And four of those arrested were here in the United States illegally, so ICE was notified.
These 64 arrests were PCSO arrests only, and do not include arrests in Polk County made by any of the city police departments or the Florida Highway Patrol.
