TAMPA—Southeastern University golf coach David Joyner was selected as The Sun Conference Men’s Golf Coach of the Year for the 2023-24 season.
The Fire men were ranked 18th in the initial clippd rankings and jumped as high as 10th on March 13th following a win at the Skyhawk Invitational. Southeastern also won twice in the fall at the Gyrene Invitational and the SEU Invitational.
In the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25, the Fire are currently ranked 10th. In 27 total rounds, the fire average 291.4.
The team will begin play at The Sun Conference Championship hosted at Grasslands Country Club in Lakeland starting Monday at 8:30 a.m.
