Angel & Elliot started their day with a wake-up call at 8:30 am by PCSO deputies.
The two men were asleep in the front of a black 2006 Honda Accord that was parked at one of the pumps at a gas station. In the back seat was a 4-year old girl (a relative to Elliot).
The deputies wanted to first make sure everyone was alright, but as soon as they woke up the two snoozers, chaos erupted.
Angel tried starting the car, but a deputy said that wasn’t happening, and an in-car scuffle ensued.
Angel was hitting, pushing, and even biting a deputy.
At that point, the deputy pushed his magic doggy button, and out popped K9 Zorak from the patrol car.
When Zorak entered the fray, Angel grabbed the dog and then began biting the dog’s ear.
As you might imagine, that didn’t sit well with Zorak’s human partner who immediately put Angel into time-out.
While all of this was going on, Elliot grabbed the 4-year old and ran out into the street.
“The street” was the intersection of Ronald Reagan Parkway and Lake Wilson Road in Davenport. A very busy area at 8:30 am on a Monday. And drivers were maneuvering quickly to avoid Elliot and the girl.
Another deputy ran after Elliot, and did the old cuff & stuff by putting him into her patrol car.
The 4-year old girl was unharmed, and turned over to DCF.
Angel & Elliot were taken to the Polk Pokey and charged with a lot. Both were charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Angel got charged for battery on LEO, battery on K9, and resisting. Elliot was charged with possession of a stolen firearm he had on him (out of Orlando), battery on LEO, resisting, and child abuse.
Zorak & the deputy will be OK, thankfully.
