Charles Moore was one of the targets during our last sex offender roundup on Halloween. Unfortunately, he knew he had violated the terms of his registration and took off for parts unknown before we could pick him up.
At least, he thought it was parts unknown. But, like the song says, “You can’t outrun the long arm of the law.” Our Special Victims Unit worked with multiple agencies which led to him being tracked down and arrested Sunday in Candler County, Georgia.
Big thank you to the Candler County Sheriff’s Office and K-9 Thunder, the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office and K-9 Layka, the Metter Police Department, the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, and the FBI Miami (Fort Pierce Resident Agency) and FBI Atlanta (Savannah Resident Agency) for all working together to make sure Moore spends his Thanksgiving behind bars!
