Join us Saturday, June 15, for the official grand opening of the beautiful new Florida Avenue Multi-Purpose Trail. We’ll kick things off at 8:30 with a Trail Trot. Starting at Lakeshore, participants will walk, jog, run, or cycle along the trail to the downtown area. We’ll have a water stop along the route, and there’s lots of shade! Trail Trot participants will receive an event T-shirt (while supplies last). At 9:30, we’ll hold a brief ribbon cutting ceremony at Florida @ 9th Street and hand out swag bags (while supplies last) that include discount cards for Madilynn’s Coffee Shop one block away at Florida@10th. From there, we invite you to visit the Downtown Farmers Market, which runs until 1 p.m. We hope to see you there!
