Hurricane Milton Delays Drone Mosquito Control

Due to delays caused by Hurricane Milton, Osceola County will begin drone mosquito control treatments in Buenaventura Lakes on Monday, October 21. The Kindred/Tohoqua area will receive the same treatment the following week, from October 28 to November 1.

Important reminders:

Avoid going outdoors at dusk and dawn, when mosquitoes are most active.

Dress in long sleeves and pants to cover exposed skin.

Use mosquito repellents containing DEET, Picaridin, or oil of lemon eucalyptus.

Dump any containers around your home that can collect water.

If you live in a different area of the county and want to request service, please contact Mosquito Control at 407-742-0505 with your name, phone number, address, and if you have a dog in your backyard. Our team will inspect your area for treatment options.
