On October 25, 2024, just after 3 a.m., HCSO responded to reports of multiple suspects attempting to burglarize vehicles near U.S. Hwy 301 and Paseo Al Mar Blvd.
HCSO’s Aviation Unit quickly initiated surveillance, coordinating with ground units to intercept the fleeing suspects. Deputies were able to stop the vehicle and arrest four suspects.
The fifth suspect attempted to flee on foot, but was no match for our team. Aviation tracked his location, guiding deputies directly to him, where he was taken into custody.
“Let this serve as a reminder: if you attempt to run, teamHCSO will find you,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Thanks to the swift teamwork between our deputies and Aviation Section, we successfully located and arrested each suspect, ensuring our community’s safety.”
