Rocktoberfest

Annual ROCKTOBERFEST and Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In.  ADMISSION IS FREE and festivities are held in our beautiful, lakeside Wooton Park. Live rock music, seaplane competitions, food trucks, merchandise vendors and downtown businesses will be ready to serve you.

Festivities will begin with our Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In; whether you’re a pilot, aviation enthusiast, or simply curious about amphibious aircraft, you don’t want to miss this! Seaplanes fly in from all over to participate in our flying competitions, like the crowd’s favorite “Pumpkin Drop” contest. While the pilots compete, we will give pumpkin decorating kits and candy to the first 100 kids at the Pilot Registration Tent. The seaplane flying contests are scheduled to begin at 11:00 am, and the Pilot/Spectator Meet & Greet will be from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm, where you can get photos with the pilots and their planes.

Following the contests, we will take you on a journey back in time with our power-packed rock show presenting music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s with high-energy performances by Duplicity, Brother Brownlow, SWITCH and returning to Tavares for their second performance is our headliner, The ATOMIC PUNKS unleashing the mighty Van Halen legacy!
