Shari Blissett-Clark has been involved in wild lands conservation for over 40 years. She holds a BS in biology from the University of California and has continued to be a lifelong learner, with many certifications and endorsements earned along her winding professional path. She currently serves as the president of the Florida Bat Conservancy and is an active member of several conservation organizations, including Bat Conservation International, Southeastern Bat Diversity Network, Wildlife Disease Association, and Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation. Shari lives in north central Florida where she cares for her nonagenarian parents, a dozen disabled bats, 15 rescue cats, and her beloved Moluccan Cockatoo.
