Capture Winter Haven Through Your Lens!

We are excited to announce our net Photo Contest: #CaptureWinterHaven, inviting residents to showcase the beauty and uniqueness of the city through photography.
From now until October 19, photographers of all ages are encouraged to submit their best photos of Winter Haven across a variety of categories.
Participants can enter photos in the following categories:
- Landmarks
- Daily Life
- Community Events
- Nature & Wildlife
- Family
- City Services
- Airplane/Seaplane
- Drone
- Historic
All photos should be submitted via Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using the hashtag #CaptureWinterHaven by October 19 at midnight. Contestants should be sure to set the post view permission to “public” so City staff can see the entry. Alternatively, residents can direct message the City their photo or email it in to communications@mywinterhaven.
Winners in each category will be announced during Florida City Government Week and their work will be proudly displayed at the Hands on Haven event on October 26 at Winter Haven Regional Airport. Each winner will receive a special Winter Haven prize package filled with swag, which can be picked up at City Hall or mailed to winners outside the area.
“We are excited to see Winter Haven through the eyes of our residents and visitors,” said Katrina Hill, Director of Public Affairs & Communication. “This contest is a fantastic way to celebrate what makes our city special and showcase the talent within our community.”
By participating in the contest, entrants agree to allow the City of Winter Haven to share and use their photographs for promotional purposes.
