Celebrate the fifth anniversary of Paul Wilborn’s award-winning story collection, Cigar City: Tales From a 1980s Creative Ghetto. In nine linked short stories, Wilborn, a founding member of Ybor’s Artists and Writers Group, animates an era when Ybor was occupied by artists and creatives. Released in 2019, the book won the gold medal in fiction from the Florida Book Awards. Along with his talk, Eugenie Bondurant, star of The Hunger Games, Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It, and Marvel’s Werewolf By Night, will read selections from the book.
