Arrested…
On November 20th, Clermont Police Officers in the Crime Suppression Unit, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Hancock Road and Oakley Seaver Drive. Officers made contact with the driver and also with the passenger, a Mr. David Fryer. A Clermont Police Department K9 was used for an open air sniff of the vehicle.
Following a positive alert and ensuing investigation a search of the vehicle revealed approximately 28.8 grams of marijuana, 9.6 grams of methamphetamine, 22 hydrocodone pills, numerous other narcotic pills, suspected GHB liquid and various drug paraphernalia.
Through investigation, the passenger, Mr. Fryer was arrested and transported to the Lake County Jail. He was charged with the following – Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell, Possession of Hydrocodone with Intent to Sell, Possession of Alprazolam, and Possession of Marijuana more than 20 grams.
