On July 13, 2024, at approximately 1730 hours, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a shooting at the Simpson Ridge Apartments. Deputies arrived on the scene and learned a physical altercation between two subjects ended in a shooting.
The victim was shot multiple times and was transported to the hospital. The suspect, Fausto Junior Toribio, was arrested at the scene and charged with Attempted Murder and Aggravated Battery.
