On December 7th 2024, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the Red Kettle Challenge, competing against the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The event will be held by the Salvation Army and the goal is to receive donations to provide funding for those in need during the holiday season. All proceeds received by the many LCSO volunteers, stationed at approximately different locations throughout Lake County, will go directly to the families assisted by the Salvation Army.
