Victor Arreguin sentenced to 14 years prison followed by 15 years probation

Victor Arreguin was convicted yesterday and sentenced to 14 years prison followed by 15 years probation. He was also designated a sexual offender.

In October 2022, Victor Ulises Arreguin, 31, of 1485 W Avon Blvd. in Avon Park, was arrested after a search warrant was executed at his home by the Special Victims Unit.

The warrant was obtained after a tip via the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding child pornography on WhatsApp.

Arreguin was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. All 10 items of child pornography were videos. Some of them also involved a child under 5 and some also included sexual battery of a child.

Due to the nature of the videos, Arreguin’s charges are enhanced to second-degree felonies.

Note: Not all arrests result in convictions. Everyone is considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
