This week, crews with Middlesex Contracting and our Public Works staff began removing bricks from Massachusetts Avenue to New York Avenue.
The crews will work east to Florida Avenue, closing each stretch of 10th Street for about a week as they remove the bricks along 10th Street and pave with asphalt. The state streets downtown, as well as the intersections along 10th Street, will remain brick.
