Sheriff Marcos R. Lopez and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office want to inform our community about a current scam. Fraudsters are sending text messages that appear to be from USPS, claiming there is an issue with a parcel and providing a link to “resolve” it. DO NOT click the link! This is a phishing attempt to steal your personal information.
Stay vigilant:
Always verify messages directly with USPS.
Never share personal details in response to unsolicited messages.
Report suspicious texts immediately.
