Lake County deputies are currently seeking the whereabouts of 14-year-old Blayne Caruso, who was last seen at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 4 in the area of St. Thomas Avenue in Umatilla. Deputies learned that Blayne had recently told a sibling that he was planning to run away; however, having never run away before, deputies are attempting to locate him as cold overnight temperatures are approaching.
The sheriff’s helicopter and drones have flown the area, and deputies have searched diligently on foot using a bloodhound; however, Blayne has not yet been located. It is unknown if he is on foot, in a home, or in a vehicle. He was last seen wearing an orange long sleeve shirt, tan shorts, and carrying a purple tablet. Blayne is 5’ 4” tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds, and has blue eyes and blonde hair.
