DUI Arrest In Riverview

On February 9, 2025, just after 1 a.m., HCSO‘s DUI Unit responded to a 911 call reporting a vehicle collision with a tree on Red Spruce Avenue in Riverview.

The caller noted that the driver appeared to be asleep.

Upon arrival, deputies located Terry Robinson, 43, whose vehicle had struck the tree and claimed that he was lost. Robinson exhibited signs of impaired driving and a DUI investigation was conducted.

Robinson provided a breath sample of .176. He was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence.

“Every instance of impaired driving is a reckless gamble with lives,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “This individual’s decision to drive under the influence endangered not only his life but also the safety of others. HCSO is committed to removing impaired drivers off our roadways and ensuring the safety of our community.”
