On May 12, 2024, Lake County deputies responded to an incident location regarding a robbery that occurred. The victim was found zip-tied and lying on the floor of his residence by a neighbor. It was determined that the suspects had stolen the victim’s tablet, phone, handgun, and money. The victim stated the female suspect arrived wearing a “Police” jacket during the incident, with a male suspect unknown to him. The victim advised that he was familiar with the female suspect, who had previously helped him clean his residence. Lake County detectives identified both suspects as Kayla Berlinski (DOB 04/06/1993), and James Rohrer (DOB 12/05/1995). Detective Z. Williams issued an arrest warrant for both suspects.
