HCSO’s Aviation Section helped locate two suspects involved in an armed robbery outside of an apartment building on Douglas Oaks Circle.
The two suspects robbed two people at gunpoint while they were sitting in their car. They fled the scene with the victim’s phones. One of the victims was able to track their phone, which helped lead deputies, along with the Tampa Police Department, to the location of the suspect’s vehicle.
Jamel Hernandez, 21, and Kareem Hernandez, 23, were both arrested and charged with Armed Robbery with a Firearm and Armed Burglary of Conveyance.
