Winter Haven, FL – Central Florida Health Care (CFHC) is excited to announce the 2nd annual Health Expo in the Park, a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4-7 in downtown Winter Haven. It’s a family event you won’t want to miss.
November is National Diabetes Awareness Month and Health Expo in the Park started in 2023 to spread awareness. This year’s event will be a vibrant mix of free health screenings, Yoga, Zumba, and Pilates demonstrations, activities for the kids, vendors, and raffle prizes, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
In 2023, Central Florida Health Care demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the community by serving over 76-thousand patients throughout its health centers in Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties. Patients made more than 250 thousand visits to fulfill their healthcare needs. While Central Florida Health Care is not a free clinic, it is a beacon of support for our community. CFHC is committed to providing care to anyone, regardless of their ability to pay. CFHC accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most insurances and is here to help the uninsured and underinsured by offering a sliding fee scale.
Since its establishment in 1972, Central Florida Health Care, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been dedicated to serving the Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Communities.
