The Osceola County Board of County Commissioners has officially proclaimed September 2024 as Hunger Action Month in #OsceolaCounty. This proclamation, presented by Commissioner Brandon Arrington (D3) to Stephanie Palacios of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The proclamation underscores our commitment to addressing hunger and food insecurity in our community.
With 13.2% of Floridians facing hunger, it’s important to raise awareness and take action. We’re proud to support Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and their hard work in providing meals to those in need. Last year alone, they distributed over 7.8 million meals right here in Osceola County.
Join us this September in making a difference. Whether through volunteering, sharing information on social media, or making a donation, every effort counts in the fight to end hunger.
