On December 19th, 2024, detectives with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau executed a search warrant at 14604 Johns Lake Road in Clermont. Detectives received information in November 2024 that Christopher Hardy, 09/23/1974, was selling narcotics from the residence. Detectives executed the search warrant and seized a trafficking amount of methamphetamine, along with various drug-related paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. Christopher Hardy was taken into custody without incident and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia with a total bond of $27,000.
Lake County SWAT and members from the Clermont, Eustis, Leesburg, and Mt. Dora Police Departments assisted detectives.
