On March 19, 2025, just after 11 p.m., team HCSO‘s Aviation Section responded to assist patrol deputies after a golf cart was stolen from a clubhouse in the Triple Creek Community in Riverview.
When deputies attempted a traffic stop, five juveniles jumped from the moving cart and fled on foot. After several foot pursuits, all five were taken into custody.
“Theft, no matter the item, is a violation of our community’s sense of safety,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We will continue to protect the property of our residents and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.”
