FBI Fugitive Captured: PCSO deputies working out of the Central District received word Wednesday evening, February 26th, that a man who was wanted on warrants from the FBI was traveling in the area.

At about 4:29 pm, the deputies were notified by crime analysts in the PCSO’s Real Time Crime Center that 39-year old Victor Manuel Perez-Cardenas of Tampa, was traveling near Thornhill Road and Winter Lake Road (SR 540). He was known to be in a white Cadillac SUV.
Deputies immediately located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on the on-ramp to eastbound Polk Parkway, and took Perez-Cardenas into custody without incident.
Perez-Cardenas was Arrested By The Polk County Sheriffs Office and taken to the Polk County Jail, where he was booked-in on the FBI warrants for: Kidnapping, Conspiracy to Kidnap, Conspiracy to Conceal an Alien to the United States, and Bringing an Alien to the United States.
