PCPS expects to send out Controlled Open Enrollment (COE) acceptances on Tuesday, May 6.
We will also conduct another magnet school lottery drawing and send out notices on May 6, so families have the most school options while preparing for 2025-26.
***Please note that your school choice status in Parent Portal will be temporarily disabled in the days leading up to May 6.***
If your application is chosen for either COE or a magnet school, you should receive an email and Parent Portal notification by the end of May 6. Please read the email carefully and follow the instructions to either accept or decline your child’s invite.
After May 6, we will continue processing applications until available seats are filled for the 2025-26 school year. Remember that transportation is provided for magnet school students, but not for students who attend an out-of-zone school via COE.
