Armed Robbery Arrests

On March 17, 2025, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Monterosso Apartments located at 3050 La Spezia Circle, Kissimmee, FL, following a report of an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victims, who reported that an unidentified masked male entered the front office, brandished a firearm, and took cash as well as a wallet from one of the victims’ pockets. It was later discovered that the suspects made fraudulent charges on the victim’s credit cards shortly after the robbery.

The primary suspect was identified as Ildemaro Escalona-Mendoza (born February 12, 1999). Two additional suspects who used the victim’s credit cards were Samuel Anthony-Charle (born January 2, 2000) and Renzo Mendoza Rico (born March 18, 1991).

Ildemaro Escalona-Mendoza was arrested and charged with the following offenses: F.S.S. 812.13(2)(a) – Robbery with a Firearm, F.S.S. 784.021(1)(b) – Aggravated Assault with Intent to Commit a Felony (two counts), and F.S.S. 812.014(2)(c)(1) – Grand Theft. Samuel Anthony-Charle and Renzo Mendoza-Rico were arrested and charged with F.S.S. 817.568(2) and F.S.S. 817.6 – Use/Possession of Identification of Another Without Consent and Credit Card Fraud.
