Five University of South Florida sailing team members were honored when the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SAISA) announced all-conference and all-rookie team selections for 2023-24.
Kay Brunsvold (Sarasota) and Emma Shakespeare (St. Petersburg) were named to the All-SAISA Women’s Skippers First Team. Brunsvold was also a Women’s Skipper of the Year finalist.
Meanwhile, Emma Digiacomo (Tampa) and Kalea Woodard (San Diego, Calif.) earned All-SAISA Crew honors and Woodward was a Women’s Crew of the Year Finalist.
Kailey Warrior (Houston, Texas) was named an All-SAISA Rookie of the Year Finalist for Women’s Skipper.
The Bulls finished third at the SAISA Conference Championships in Jacksonville, Fla. in April. The Bulls will compete at the Women’s Fleet Race Nationals in Cambridge, Mass., May 20-23.
