HCSO deputies, the Tampa Police Department and Florida Highway Patrol conducted a joint operation on December 31, 2024, to target impaired drivers.
“The holiday season is a time for celebration, but it’s also a time when the risk of impaired driving increases significantly. By partnering with our fellow law enforcement agencies, we were able to send a strong message that driving under the influence is not only dangerous but completely unacceptable,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “This collaborative effort not only held offenders accountable but also served as a reminder to everyone in our community to make responsible decisions and prioritize safety. Together, we’re working to save lives and prevent tragedies before they happen.”
