BARTOW, Fla. – The Office of the Tax Collector for Polk County (TCPC) will be closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, December 23, 24, and 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday. Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, December 26.
TCPC’s holiday hours will mirror Governor Ron DeSantis’ recent directive that State offices close for the holiday on December 23, in addition to Christmas Eve and Christmas; however, Tax Collector offices will be open on December 31 in anticipation of customers’ many end-of-year business needs. Offices will be closed January 1.

Kiosk services are available in each of the five Tax Collector locations and in Lakeland at the Grove Park Publix store.
Additionally, TCPC tag agency partners First Lakeland Tag Agency and Express Auto Tags of Winter Haven conduct vehicle title and tag registration services and offer extended hours. Please note, these tag agency partners First Lakeland Tag Agency and Express Auto Tags of Winter Haven remain open on December 23 and 24 but will be closed on December 25 and January 1.
