Polk County Public Schools will announce the 2024-25 Teacher and School-Related Employee of the Year on Friday, Nov. 8, during the Inspire Awards presented by MIDFLORIDA Credit Union.
The invite-only event will be held Friday at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, and the ceremony will start at 6:30 p.m.

During the event, finalists will be recognized with video tributes and receive sponsored gifts.
The Teacher of the Year and School-Related Employee of the Year will receive cash prizes donated by MIDFLORIDA Credit Union and the collective generosity of all sponsors.

During the event, PCPS will also recognize the district’s Principal of the Year, Suzie Nelson from Chain of Lakes Elementary; as well as the Assistant Principal of the Year, Stephanie Huber from Southwest Middle.
