After verifying that the total of instructional minutes provided to students in their current schedule will be in compliance with state requirements, Osceola County students will not be required to make up the five days schools were closed for Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. A very small number of schools will need to make minor adjustments to their school days to comply with state rules, but no school will require students to attend additional days. This will not be the case if additional school closures are needed throughout the remainder of this school year for any future emergencies.
