UCF Women’s Golf Finishes In Fourth Place At Illini Invitational

The UCF women’s golf team finished fourth at the Illini Invitational Tuesday afternoon. The Knights recorded a tournament score of 845 (-19).

Molly Smith saved her best round for last, jumping up eight spots in the player leaderboard to finish tied for third with a score of 207 (-9). The sophomore recorded a bogey-free round with four birdies.

Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham went bogey-free through the front nine and carded a birdie on the back nine to end the round with a 74 (+2). She finished the tournament with a 209 (-7) which tied her for 10th place.

Mila Jurine remained in the top 25 after another great performance in the final round of play. Jurine recorded three birdies to end the day, just one over par and placed T23.

One Kashima finished the final round with a 73 to be tied for 49th place.

Jamie Camero, competing as an individual, shot a 72 to wrap up the tournament tied for 29th place.

The Knights will head to Knoxville, Tennessee for the Merecedes-Benz Intercollegiate from Oct. 20 – 22.
