The Flrunners.com Invitational is one of the largest and most hotly contested races in the State of Florida year in and year out. Some of the best in the state compete for prominence to see where their teams stand at the midway point in the season. The race took place at Holloway Park in Lakeland, Florida which is the site of the Middle State Championships and used to be the site of the High School State Championships. Many incredible times have been run at this prestigious event. This year, the Knights were selected to compete in the top race, the Race of Champions, coined due to it was a chance for the top teams in the state to compete with each other. The Knights came in ranked 15th out of 30 teams in the race. They beat their virtual ranking with a top ten finish. It was a very impressive showing at a very prestigious race.
