Osceola County Commission Approves Fiscal Year 2025 Budget

Osceola County Commissioners approved a $2.9 billion Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 budget Monday that delivers necessary services to the citizens, with a continued focus on transportation, economic development, and public safety, while maintaining the same general tax rate that has been in place since 2011.

“Our priority with this budget is to ensure long-term fiscal sustainability while providing the essential services our residents rely on,” said Osceola County Commission Chair Cheryl Grieb. “We’ve taken a strategic approach to balance immediate needs with forward-thinking investments in infrastructure and public safety for a growing population. This budget allows us to manage growth responsibly, maintain service quality, and plan for the future without increasing the millage rate.”
