Mayfaire by-the-Lake began its journey in 1971 as a modest crafts fair on the lawn of the Lakeland Public Library. However, over the decades, it has evolved into one of Florida’s premier outdoor art festivals. Held annually on Mother’s Day weekend, Mayfaire now boasts over 150 artist booths and is set against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Morton in downtown Lakeland.
As one of the longest-running arts festivals in Central Florida, Mayfaire has consistently earned accolades, including being listed among Sunshine Artist Magazine’s “200 Best Art Shows” for the past ten consecutive years.
