LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Softball) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 2023-24 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete awards. Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) Softball placed seven on a list of over 8,000 student-athletes across all levels.
The Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honor recognizes student-athletes who have obtained a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) or higher for the 2023-24 school year.
8,054 collegiate student-athletes were recognized by the NFCA for academic achievement this year. 808 from that list come from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

Lakehawk Softball will begin the fall pre-season when students come back for the fall semester. The 2025 season is set to begin end-of-January.
The fall 2024 scrimmage game schedule can be accessed at www.lakehawksports.com. More information regarding the 2024-25 Lakehawk Softball team will be released closer to season.
